Frequently Asked Questions
Short answers to the questions buyers ask us most often.

Do you sell wholesale only?
Yes. This website is for business customers: importers, distributors, wholesalers, retailers and food-service companies. Private customers are welcome at our shop in Istanbul.
What is the minimum order quantity?
It depends on the products and packaging. Bulk trays of our standard range have low minimums, while printed private-label packaging requires larger runs. Tell us your plans and we will give you exact figures.
Can I mix different varieties in one order?
Yes. Most buyers start with an assortment of several product lines in one shipment.
Can I get samples?
Yes, we can arrange samples of the varieties you are interested in. Sample and courier costs are agreed in advance.
Do you offer private label?
Yes. We can pack our products in your branded boxes, with labels in your language. See our private label page for details.
What is the shelf life of Turkish delight?
Lokum is a shelf-stable confectionery, but the shelf life depends on the variety (fillings, coating) and the packaging. The exact best-before period of each product is stated in its specification sheet.
How should Turkish delight be stored?
In a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, heat and strong odours. Avoid refrigeration and humidity, which affect the texture and coating.
Which countries do you ship to?
We ship worldwide by road, sea and air. Some destinations require extra registrations or documents, such as the USA, the Eurasian Economic Union and some Gulf countries. We check these with you before the first order.
Which documents do you provide?
Commercial invoice, packing list, transport document, certificate of origin (A.TR, EUR.1 or standard) and, where required, a health certificate from the Turkish Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. Lab analysis and product specifications are available on request.
Which Incoterms and payment terms do you work with?
We usually quote EXW, FCA, FOB, CFR or CIF. Payment terms are agreed per customer; for first orders, an advance payment is standard.
Are your products halal?
Traditional lokum is made from sugar, starch, water, nuts and fruit, and contains no gelatine or alcohol. If your market requires a halal certificate, tell us so that we can check the certification for your order before you buy.
What is the HS code for Turkish delight?
Usually 1704.90 (sugar confectionery not containing cocoa). Varieties containing chocolate or cocoa may be classified under 1806. The final code is confirmed per product.
